
1. Traditional Cardio is Dead!

In fact, you burn more calories in 25 minutes of high intensity workout than five to six hours of traditional treadmill walking in your fat zone.

2. Sleep Is Very Important
Sleep deprivation as been seen as one of the major cause of weight gain in most individuals.
To confirm this, a research was carried out where it was seen that people with less than 5 hours of sleep everyday usually weigh more than people with 8 hours of sleep every night.
The reason for this is simple, if you deprive yourself of sleep, your body increases the production of the hormone called ghrelin, an appetite enhancer. This increases your appetite thereby making you crave for extra servings.
Therefore, to lose weight permanently, you have at least 8 hours of sleep every night.
3. Eliminate Stress
Not only does stress affect your entire system, it also increases your weight gain as well. During a stressed state, you body produces two hormones; cortisol and adrenaline.
Cortisol in your blood stream increases your appetite, making you crave for junk foods. This is what is termed stress eating disorder or emotional eating habit.
As an emotional eater, you tend to eat more of junk foods that will make losing weight difficult, these foods can only add to your weight gain. So, to lose weight permanently, you have to consider eliminating stress from your life
4. Bad Eating Habits
Everybody is guilty of this. Everybody wants to have a taste of tasty fried chicken, a taste of French fries and the likes.
While these set of foods are very tasty to the mouth, they really pile up your weight gain, making you feel frustrated.
To lose weight, you should know that sugar, saturated fats, and high carb foods are not good for you. Replace them with fruits, vegetables, and low carb diets.
5. Don't Expect Overnight Result
This is usually the most important thing that you need to do; there is nothing as quick fix.
Countless number of people has tried different diet programs and expecting an overnight result, understanding that weight loss is a gradual process will really go a long way in helping you lose weight permanently.
